Be the LOG.

Learn · Observe · Ground

Three poker apps for the part of the game that is not the cards. The math props it, the ground holds it, and the river goes past.

The questions, answered here

Four guides with the arithmetic shown. Each one answers its question in full on the page, because a page that withholds the answer to make you install something is not worth writing. One-off hands and the numbers behind them go on the blog instead.

Where the money comes from

Not from you playing more

No rake, no affiliate deals, no poker room sponsorship. An app that tells you to set a stop-loss cannot also earn more when you ignore it.

No ads and no trackers. There is a server now, and it does one thing: carry your log to your other devices, if you sign in and ask it to. Nothing else is sent anywhere by anything here, and what it holds is filed under a number derived from your address rather than under your address.

Free at the table, paid away from it. Log is free in its entirety and stays that way, because what is valuable in it is your own record and nothing should charge you rent to read that back. In the other two, the drills and the resets you reach for mid-session are free, and the longer work is the part that is sold.

Your history follows you, and that is free too. Carrying a log from your phone to your laptop was going to be the one paid thing in this app. It is not one any more. A second device is still your own record, and the sentence above should not have an asterisk on it. Sign in and it follows you, free like the rest of this.

Paid once, if you ever pay. One payment rather than a subscription, so nothing here bills you monthly for having quit.
