Legal
Last updated 8 October 2026. Log is a session log for poker players. This page says what it stores, what leaves your device, and how to delete all of it.
Your log lives on your device. Nothing leaves it unless you sign in, and signing in is optional: every feature of Log works without an account. If you do sign in, Log carries your own log to your own other devices and sends nothing else.
There are no ads in Log, no analytics, no third party trackers and no advertising identifiers. Nothing here is sold, rented or shared with anybody for marketing, because there is no such arrangement to share it under.
Everything you enter: your sessions, the hands you log, the mood check-ins, and the venues you have played at. On a phone that is a SQLite database inside the app. In a browser it is IndexedDB, which belongs to the site and to that browser.
If you have signed in, the app also holds the sign-in token it was
issued. On a phone that goes in the system keychain by way of
expo-secure-store. In a browser it is in the site's own
local storage.
None of it is readable by us. It is on your device, and deleting the app deletes it.
Signing in means typing an address and then the code mailed to it. The address is sent to log.poker so the mail can be sent, and it is not written down. The record that holds the code is keyed by a one-way fingerprint of the address rather than by the address, and what it holds is a fingerprint of the code rather than the code. It is deleted fifteen minutes later, whether you used it or not.
The consequence is worth stating plainly, because it is unusual: there is no list of who uses Log, and no way to produce one. Nobody here can look up an address and find a log, or look at a log and find an address.
Once signed in, Log sends the sessions, hands, mood entries and venues you have recorded, so the same log is on your other devices. It is stored on Netlify, in a bucket named by a fingerprint derived the same one-way manner from your address. Nothing else about the device, the network or the person is sent with it.
The sign-in token lasts thirty days and renews while you keep using the app. Signing out forgets the token on that device and leaves both copies where they are.
Two companies, both because Log has to use somebody for these jobs and neither for anything else:
That is the whole list. There is no analytics vendor, no crash reporter, no advertising network and no data broker, so there is nothing further down the page about what they get.
This covers Log: Poker Session Tracker, from the App Store, from Google Play, and at log.poker/app.
On your device. Settings has a control that clears every session, hand, mood entry and venue. Deleting the app does the same thing on a phone; clearing site data does it in a browser.
On the server. Settings, under "Your other devices", has a control called "Delete your account and its data". It deletes the stored copy and signs that device out. It cannot be undone, and no device will put it back.
Without the app. If Log is no longer on your phone, the same control works from any browser:
Signing in brings your log into that browser first, as it would onto any device, so clear it afterwards with the first control above or by clearing the site's data.
There is no account record left behind, because there was never one to begin with: no name, no profile and no stored address, only the bucket that control deletes. That is the whole of what is held, so deleting it is the whole of the deletion, and nothing is kept for a period afterwards. The one thing outside it is Netlify's ordinary server log of requests, described above, which holds no part of your log.
Log is one of three apps that share a single pass, with tiltproof.poker and untilt.poker. When you open one of them from a link inside Log, the link can carry the hand you were looking at so the other app opens on the right thing. It carries no address and no part of your log. Those apps have their own policies and their own storage; nothing here reads theirs and nothing there reads this.
Log is a record keeping tool for adults who play poker for money. It is not directed at children and is not intended for anybody under 18, and nothing here is knowingly collected from them.
Depending on where you live you may have a right to see what is held about you, to correct it, to have it deleted, or to take it elsewhere. All four are already controls in the app rather than requests you have to make: your log is on your device to read, the export in Settings writes it out as a spreadsheet, and the two deletion controls above reach everything there is.
If you would rather ask a person, the address below works. Bear in mind what the sign-in section says: an address on its own cannot be connected to a log, so a request to see what is held will need the app to be signed in on your device to answer at all.
The date at the top is the date it last changed. A change that makes a real difference to what leaves your device will be said in the app as well, not left here to be discovered.
support@log.poker, which is also where to write when the app is wrong about something.
